I contacted Brian Tilton of the Predators, who approached us after playoff game one and offerred to split a practice ice. He pointed out how unavailable ice time is...I checked out Boch Ice Area (aka Dedham where we play) and they are booked solid all winter. So the problem is no longer paying for the ice or finding another team to play, it's finding ice in the first place.
Brian mentioned that he'll call Jim Roche Arena (on VFW Parkway) and see if they have time. I checked their website and saw a whole heaping helping of nothing.
If anybody is aware of a rink that isn't all booked up forever, please post it here. Frozen ponds are good too.

Try the MDC Shea Rink in Quincy - they probably don't open for another month, but we used to get ice there on Sunday nights...they may have other days available. Just a thought.
